Typical succeeding from the union CA idea that comes up only after they had to play 12 games w/o a break. It's not like they are supporting the rest of the conference in FB, or for that matter in any sport. Think it still serves them best to be associated with the conference of champions.

That makes me chuckle. Notre Dame is struggling with the challenges of being an independent, and USC does not have the national reach that ND does. Speaking of which, if SC had taken care of business against ND, they would likely be in the BCS playoff. As is, they deserve to be where they are. Better, more consistent performance on the field is what it will take to get SC in the BCS....not a change in scenery. Also, Larry Scott already kowtows to SC and Stanford. They are not going to find a more beneficial situation outside of the PAC-12. They should spend their significant resources pressuring Larry Scott to do a better job for the Conference.....or, push to give him his 'independent' status.
