Utah '14 reminds me a lot of Tomey-ball.
Tough, aggressive D. Grind-it-out anemic offense w/ QB Thompson (run, run, run). excellent special teams (punting, kicking, return game).

and like tomey ball...no matter how dominating the defense is, the game likely comes down to 1 final possession for the other team to win/tie.

So Utah's RB just scored a TD in the first OT and took a bow…. but no unsportsmanlike conduct penalty.

Did he first run in front of the OSU bench woofing at them and then sprint to midfield and then take a bow? I know it's six of one half dozen of the other but Booker bowing right after standing up is not the same as what the Oregon defender did. He called attention to himself before the actual bow. The referee's had to call that.

The game was essentially OVER when Booker took a bow, right?

No, the bow was not the last play of the game. It was during regulation, I believe.
