Polian is the Nevada head coach, right?

What exactly is he talking about?

Isn't he talking about Graham; presumably to someone interested or offered the DL job?

Not sure why he would be telling a coaching candidate about ASu's very average ed. But if it is about Cracker, that's very cool.

This is fun. Signing day tomorrow, great news to have today. Now what will be even more fun is to see the insider's of the sports writers say.

Pretty sure it was directed at a rectuit...

If it were a coach he'd probably have just tested or emailed. This was a Twitter Direct Message that he accidentally tweeted. In that context the ASu education piece makes more sense.

As I recall, Missouri is the place where the football team went on strike which contributed to the president of the university getting fired. Not exactly the kind of place to be a football coach. Kind of hard to push people to be better if you have to walk on eggshells all season so as not to upset anyone.

Bearing Down on going to a bad place that is better than where you are now

Sports talk radio spent 10 minutes talking about it today

Postby ValleyCat » Tue Feb 02, 2016 9:18 am

During the 7 am segment of the Doug & Wolf Show on 98.7, Doug--of whom, I often use the word "douchebag"--started out by saying that Jackie Shipp leaving for Mizzou ought to makee ASu fans concerned because it is too much of lateral move (or something like that). He said that's too many coaches leaving or something. Wolf said Cracker has said that he is very hard on his coaches and maybe Shipp leaving is evidence of it. Then Doug said here's something that may back that up. And he read Polian's tweet, said it was obvioulsy directed at Cracker. He also said that ASu's athletic department responded to the tweet with a tweet, but I really didn't hear what he said their response is.

If Doug actually said something that's negative, or negative sounding, about ASu, then things must be really bad. He's second to only Tim Healy in terms of seeing the world through mustard and rust glasses.
