I gotta say seeing recruits wearing our gear...makes me realize how clean a look we have with the block A. It's such a nice, simple logo, and the colors can't get much better...who doesn't like red white and blue? It's a dynamic, clean and distinguished look....and in a room full of other people wearing other teams/logos, I would imagine our block A would stand out in a crowd.

I remember the outrage in the Daily Wildcat that the school spent $30k on the new logo design (instead of having a competition among art/graphic design students or something like that)...agree wholeheartedly with my deep-thinking friend Filthy!

I remember as well. I think if you tried to design a logo now, you'd spend $30k on focus groups alone. It was a great bargain. I think they threw in the "U" for free.
