Same to all coaches/staff, but I really feel like Yates and Williams stepped in at the last possible second and still had a very positive affect. We can debate all day long about how the RR flirtation (or more) with South Carolina, and the timing on terminating the employment of Casteel and Kirlav had on recruiting. But not one person would say it was a positive for this years class. In fact, the timing of it call could have fully exploded this class, and it was looking weeks ago like that might just happen.
I'd say this bodes very well for the future. With no offense to Casteel and Kirlav (I'll assume good on the field coaches), I think Yates and Williams have already proven to be better recruiters and I've read they are great motivators as well. On top of that, in a short period of time, Yates has proven himself to be a good DC as well.
Job well done coaches, welcome new Wildcats, and Bear Down on spring practice!
