Good Coaching

This is a nice story by Michael Lev. It's about Zach Hemilla trying to take over the reins at center and some of what goes into it. My favorite part was Coach Michalczik's assignment to the OL. Draft an All-Pro NFL offensive lineman, put together a 10-play highlight reel, and write a paper with the findings. The players picked up lots of technique stuff. Now that's great teaching.

That is my one concern about Hemilla, his pass blocking. He had problems at guard much less center at times. There were time when defensive linemen would simply blow by him. I could never figure out what was happening.
