Notice her reference to Arizona losing 4 assistants. Did she fail to mention anything significant? Why would she do that??

Well, that ought to be embarrassing. Did she do the "interview" in the faculty lounge?

... of horseshit, right down to Graham's well rehearsed 'paid off my house and donated money to our improvement project' BS. Now it's "... when you've built something great like we have, people are going to leave. It's a good thing." 90 miles south, a coach with a nearly identical 3 year record, and a more recent Pac-12 South title, is compelled to fire guys who are like members of his family in order to improve his team, and Boivin can't bring herself to ask obvious questions, or provide honest analysis. It isn't stupidity or incompetence. She's either paid to be an ASu cheerleader, or is too chickenshit to do her job.

Paula and Greg are two of a kind, just on opposite extreme ends of the reporting spectrum. One has too much love to spread and one does not have near enough love to spread.

As I said a few days ago, ASu's Professor Payola has a major conflict of interest. The Republic is remiss for allowing it, but their quality and standards are what they are. Somebody probably called her up and said: "There's a lot of misunderstanding about this situation, and we've already got some unhappy season ticket holders with the seat relocations and increased ticket prices. So, we'll be happy to make "CTG" available to explain how losing the coaches is really a positive, instead of a negative." And she stood up, saluted, and did the job for them as well as if her paper reprinted a p.r. release from them verbatim. So, it was a great opportunity for her to demonstrate that she "gets it", and with any luck, she can get a promotion to the ASu Ministry of Propaganda any time now. Maybe when that happens, she can still continue teaching her ASu journalism students about remaining neutral when covering a story. What I love is the fact that all parties are so completely wide-open and feign that they don't see any problem with it. That attitude would also serve her well if she wants to get involved doing p.r. in Arizona politics, so she's got a lot of avenues open to her. You go, girl.
