As I said a few days ago, ASu's Professor Payola has a major conflict of interest. The Republic is remiss for allowing it, but their quality and standards are what they are. Somebody probably called her up and said: "There's a lot of misunderstanding about this situation, and we've already got some unhappy season ticket holders with the seat relocations and increased ticket prices. So, we'll be happy to make "CTG" available to explain how losing the coaches is really a positive, instead of a negative." And she stood up, saluted, and did the job for them as well as if her paper reprinted a p.r. release from them verbatim. So, it was a great opportunity for her to demonstrate that she "gets it", and with any luck, she can get a promotion to the ASu Ministry of Propaganda any time now. Maybe when that happens, she can still continue teaching her ASu journalism students about remaining neutral when covering a story. What I love is the fact that all parties are so completely wide-open and feign that they don't see any problem with it. That attitude would also serve her well if she wants to get involved doing p.r. in Arizona politics, so she's got a lot of avenues open to her. You go, girl.
