His coverage of Wildcat footbal in the Star has been really solid. I especially like his Twitter feed ... lots of great information, news and updates, and his retweets and comments on sports stuff in general is timely, insightful, and often humorous. I'm happy he's in town doing what he's doing.

I'm just glad theye gotten away from 'the Star caught up with (insert football player name) and here's what he said..." before running a Q & A during what's supposed to be a regular article. I hated that crap, just struck me as ultra lazy.

Yep, he does provide a better look at things. He is the best football writer since Burke left. It takes work to be a decent reporter and Lev is willing to do the work. For me personally, basketball news is a Sonoran hot and football new is a full steak dinner. :)

Agreed. I read the sports page to get information about UofA personnel, whether it's recruiting, injuries, or whatever. Beyond that, quotes, analysis of stats, schematic changes, departmental moves, and anything about what our conference (and non-conference) opponents are up to is all great. Otherwise, I tend to draw my own conclusions. Not surprisingly, he's doing a great job.
