New field already?

Said in the paper this morning of them installing a new field at the stadium. Is this something that is needed every year?

... the field looking brown at times (lighting?, camera angle?). Fake turf is supposed to eliminate "brown and blotchy", right? I vote for white-washing the upper decks next. Those sections stand in stark contrast to the bright white of the lower sections..

I thought I read that last year, especially on a wet field. Agree on the new paint job. I remeber when the red was painted on the lower sections and it made a nice impact.
