UCLA has played a pretty tough non-conference schedule, with series against Texas and North Carolina, and single games with Mississippi St, Oklahoma, and USC. They're 11-7 overall, and 3-0 in conference after the sweep of WSU. The trip to Hi Corbett will be their first out of California this season. One oddity is that they're a virtually all right-handed pitching staff. The strength of their pitching will go up against the Cats' bats. Pitching usually wins, but we'll see. Meanwhile, with one or two exceptions, UCLA doesn't look too terrifying at the plate. Should be at least theoretically an interesting matchup. A nice chance to check out the new scoreboard, and I think UofA marketing has been promoting this game to businesses around town. I would expect nice crowds for the three games.
