The Arizona Diamondbacks will host ASu, The UofA, and Grand Canyon University on a rotating basis over the next six years at their spring training facility. The rotation will go as follows:
2015 - ASu
2016 - Arizona
2017 - Grand Canyon
2018 - ASu
2019 - Arizona
2020 - Grand Canyon
The Diamondbacks have ties to each school. D-backs Manager Chip Hale won a national championship in 1986 as the UofA's third baseman, former ASu player James "Tuffy" Gosewisch is currently listed as the D-backs' starting catcher, and former D-backs player Andy Stankiewicz is the head baseball coach at GCU.
